Steph`s Singapore Eats: Club Street Social

With Singapore being such a diverse country naturally there are a lot of food options. I found myself eating out frequently during my first week in Singapore, but since then when I`m in town meals are mostly home cooked or come from the cafeteria at school (more on that in a separate post later). So since my eating out is quite infrequent, I thought I would document some of the restaurants I have tried and how they compare to back home. First up, Club Street Social.

I tried Club Street Social on a Saturday, brunching on my own. Located near Telok Ayer MRT, in the central business district, it was nice to find the restaurant situated on a little side laneway.

The restaurant had seating both inside and outside, so it was nice to be able to choose depending on what temperature the Singapore sun was boasting that day.

The decor inside certainly reminded me of something from a new restaurant back home, with crisp grey walls, metal and wood combinations and ceiling high shelving behind the bar. Not only did it look great, but the menu boasted some great choices that it was hard for me to choose what to eat.

I settled on the pulled pork eggs Benedict and it was not a disappointment! The sauce from the pulled pork, along with the hollandaise and egg yolk all perfectly complemented one another.

I would highly recommend Club Street Social for brunch (or any other meal, which I`m sure they do just as incredibly well).
