How Fast A Year Goes
The fact that today, Jan 24th, is a 'throw back Thursday' comes of a bit of a accord.
I throw back to a year ago to the date. It's hard to believe that it was this day last year that I departed from Australia. Standing on the corner in Brighton waiting for the bus while saying final goodbyes.
The last year since landing back on Canadian soil has gone fast in many ways, yet juxtaposed by the fact that it feels like it has been years since my time abroad.
I have always said that Australia has changed me for the better and taught me to grow a lot as a person. Today is just another day that I can be even more thankful for that.

spring cleaning in January
With the spring like weather coming in January it was no time like the present to do some closet cleaning.
Here are some tips that I use for closet organizing:
- If you haven`t worn it in the last year, get rid of it!
- Sort your closet by season, this way your not clawing through summer clothes to get to your winter ones at the very back
- To get the most out of your space, try the new invention of the slim velvet hangers that can be even purchased from the dollarstore!
- Color coordination can work wonders. Try sorting by style and within a style sorting by color.

Day 1 - adios Dominican
Today was our final day in Dominican. Managed to catch a few rays before flying home to about 8 inches of snow.
